10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s

Join us at the Summit Branch to learn how to recognize common signs of Alzheimer’s; how to approach someone about memory concerns; the importance of early detection and benefits of a diagnosis; possible tests and assessments for the diagnostic process; and Alzheimer’s resources.

Presented by Alzheimer’s Association Michigan Chapter.

 

This program is a Community Coffee Time event. Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-5 PM at the Summit Branch and Wednesdays from 10-11:30 AM at the Carnegie Library for coffee conversation, weekly activities and community resource events.

Blood Pressure Clinic

Jackson College Medical Assistant Students will be available during Community Coffee Time at the Summit Branch on February 14 from 2-5 PM for free blood pressure checks, information and heart healthy snacks.

Sit & Stay Fit

Join Julie Weisbrod, Active Aging Program Coordinator, for Sit and Stay Fit during Community Coffee Time at the Summit Branch on Tuesday, January 10 from 3-4 PM. Participate in seated exercises to improve balance, strength and flexibility. This program is designed for adults 50+ of all fitness levels.
