The Curiosity Hour

The Curiosity Hour is a place where you can satisfy your curiosity! Whether it’s a homework problem that has you stumped or a question about your favorite author, stop by and chat with a library about whatever has you scratching your head.

Librarians will be available from 3-4 PM. You don’t have to stay the whole time, just “drop in” using our virtual meeting room via Zoom here: https://zoom.us/j/96039699201

Library iSpy

Do you and your kids love Where’s Waldo and the iSpy books? Check out JDL’s Facebook page to play Library iSpy! Every day during the week of October 12, we will post a picture from one of our libraries and a list of items that can be spied in the pictures.

Prizes will be given away daily for those who participate as well as a larger prize at the end of the week!

Instant Pot Cooking

Experience the wonders of cooking with an Instant Pot! We’ll create a fast and delicious autumn-inspired meal, while demonstrating the ease of using an Instant Pot. On the menu: Spiced Orange Pork Roast, Candied Sweet Potatoes, and for dessert, Cinnamon Apple Layer Cake. Yum!

This pre-recorded video will be available on our Facebook page and YouTube Channel, so you can work at your own pace.
