During this four-session program, tweens ages 8-12 will imagine themselves as avatars – design their avatar’s world, create a costume for their avatar and more.

Caribbean Steel Drums

Eager Readers: Sea-sational Stories

Let’s have buckets of fun together! All Eager Readers ages 5 to 7 are invited to the Summit Branch to listen to stories, have a snack and make their own sand “Find-It-Bottles”.

Bots and Books

Let’s explore robotics! Join the MC Hammers Robotics Team from Michigan Center High School and Jackson District Library’s Summit Branch for a fun filled event. Experienced team members will teach participants how to program Lego robots, construct mechanisms to enhance robots and lead STEM activities.

This event will be held at the Lion’s Club in Vandercook Lake.

Session Dates: July 18 and August 8, 2 PM

Eager Readers: Just Chillin’
