National Parks Storytime

Join us at the Meijer Branch for a special storytime about our National Parks! We’ll read stories, sing songs, and make a National Parks themed craft together.

Intended for ages 3-6. No registration required.

Nintendo Night

The Meijer Branch invites patrons of all ages and skill levels to enjoy some gaming and pizza!

Two Nintendo Switches will be provided; one for competitive games like Smash Bros. and one for casual games like Mario Kart. If there are any special requests for games, please contact the Meijer Branch at 517-788-4480 and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

This program will take place on the third Thursday of the month from 5-7 PM. No registration required.

Birds of Prey: A Bird’s Eye View

Join us to discover birds of prey, including hawks, owls and falcons from the Outdoor Discovery Center! You’ll get to see the birds up close and learn about their habitat, as well as explore hands-on artifacts including skulls, feathers, pelts, and talons.

Families are welcome. No registration required.

Kaboomistry

Michigan Science Center presents Kaboomistry!

Why do things explode? Kids can learn about the relationships between pressure, temperature, and fuel to explain why things go KA-BOOM! We’ll mix physics and chemistry to get some loud, flashy effects!

Tie Dye Fun

Join us at the Meijer Branch for some tie dye fun!

We’ll have a variety of dye colors and a limited number of t-shirts for children, teens, and adults (available while supplies last). You can also bring your own white t-shirt if you would prefer.

Meijer Branch Book Club

Join us on the first Friday of the month from 10-11:30 AM at the Meijer Branch to discuss a book selected by the group.

Creative Connections

Patrons of all abilities are welcome to join us at the Meijer Branch on the first Thursday of the month* from 10 AM-12 PM for Creative Connections!

This program is intended for adults with special needs, though all are welcome!

Crochet 101

Join us every Tuesday in June at the Meijer Branch to learn the basics of crochet! We’ll be starting with the slip knot and learning basic crochet stitches.

No experience necessary! All supplies provided.

Homeschool Poetry Workshop

Homeschool students of all ages are invited to join us for a poetry workshop at the Meijer Branch on Wednesday, May 1 at 2 PM.
