Bright Walls Chaos Painting

Meet us on the Carnegie Library front lawn for some chaos painting! We’ll have canvases, acrylic paint, brushes, all you need to bring is creativity and clothes you don’t mind possibly getting paint on.

This is an all ages program to simply let your creativity flow. Supplies are limited, and available on a first come, first serve basis.

Nature in Focus: A Community Photography Show

Nature in Focus is a photography show celebrating the natural beauty in Jackson, featuring photographs taken by Jackson residents. This exhibit will be on display at the Ella Sharp Museum Pop-Up Gallery.

 


 

Nature in Focus is presented by Jackson District Library, The Dahlem Center, and Ella Sharp Museum.

The Dahlem Center

The Dahlem Center – also known as Jackson’s Nature Place – is a nature center nonprofit with 300 acres of land and over 5 miles of trails open to the public every day from dawn to dusk. The Dahlem Center provides outdoor experiences and environment education to all ages through programs including summer day camp, school programs and a community garden.

 

Ella Sharp Museum

Ella Sharp Museum provides opportunities for everyone to explore, engage in, and enjoy history, science, and the arts. Operating 11 buildings on six acres, Ella Sharp Museum features both permanent and changing exhibits as well as community events, art classes and family-friendly shows at the Hurst Planetarium.
