Intended for ages 4-10.
Join us at the Concord Branch to hear stories of haunted Jackson locations, including in the Concord and Hanover areas. Light refreshments will be served.

To celebrate October and all things spooky, we’re having a Monster Mash contest for kids! Create a monster out of whatever you can find. Paint a picture, building with Legos, use old jars and paper towel tubes – wherever your imagination takes you!
To submit an entry, bring your creation into any JDL branch OR take a picture and send it to community@myjdl.com with your name and home branch.
Entries will be accepted October 1-31.
Winners will be selected from each branch and receive a $25 JOANN Fabrics gift card.
Join us on October 5 at 4 PM at the Henrietta Branch to create a watercolor painting with mixed media with Carolyn Pascoe to decorate for the Halloween season!

Join us at the Fall Fest & Chili Classic along Michigan Ave in downtown Jackson for some pumpkin fun. We’ll be demonstrating how to make a “Puking Pumpkin” at 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM, while supplies last.
The Zombie Apocalypse has happened! Get prepared for a disaster in a Choose Your Own Adventure game. At the end of the game each participant will end up with a bag and some supplies to start their own Emergency/Disaster Go Bag.
Space is limited and registration is required. This program is intended for teens and tweens.
Decorate a pumpkin as your favorite literary/book character! All ages are welcome to participate.
