Indiana Jones Escape Room

Indiana Jones has discovered the location of a missing prized artifact! You and your group must use clues and intellect to escape and help Indy to return it to the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities.

 

April 3 Session Times: 1:30 PM, 3 PM (See below for additional dates)

Please note: Participants who are more than 5 minutes late will not be admitted. This is to ensure that we stay on schedule for each session.

This event will take place at the Carnegie Library. Groups of 8 participants are encouraged but not required (this program is geared to ages 8+). Space is limited for this program and registration is required.

Spring Break Lock-In

Kick off Spring Break with a Lock-In at the Spring Arbor Library on March 25, 6-10 PM! Enjoy Switch/PS4 gaming, crafts, board games and food!
This program is open to kids ages 8+. Space is limited and registration is required. To register, call 517-750-2030.

Polar Express Showing at Concord Library

Join us at the Concord Library for a showing of The Polar Express! Wear your favorite holiday PJs, drink hot chocolate and have fun with themed crafts and activities.

This event will take place on December 4 with showings at 10 AM and noon.

The Library is Among Us

Among Us is a massively popular online game. Players are Crewmates on a ship that must complete tasks to keep everything in order and stay alive. One or more of the Crewmates are not really Crewmates but evil Impostors. Impostors look just like the rest of the Crewmates but seek to prevent the Crewmates from completing tasks by eliminating them all using sabotage and deception.

This facilitated virtual event is for adults only and registration is required.

Staycation

Stop by any JDL branch beginning August 11 and pick up a packet with crafts, games, and ideas for fun, inexpensive staycation!

JDL Trivia Night

Join us for virtual trivia this summer! The top three contestants will receive a small prize from JDL.

This program will take place on Zoom and contestants will be answering questions via AhaSlides. To register, click here.

Mario’s Mind Mix-Up: Digital Escape Room

Mario has been captured by Bowser, the King Koopa, and is trapped inside his castle! Solve puzzles to defeat Mario World villains and help Mario escape.

Dungeons and Dragons

Are you bummed about social distancing but still want to game with your friends? Join us for a virtual Dungeons and Dragons game!

Beginners are welcome! Never participated in a role playing game before? We can help set up character sheets to get you started.

Games will be 1 hour long played via Zoom, with 4 players per session.

Register here and we’ll send you a Zoom link prior to gameplay. Registration closes at 12 PM, Nov. 14.

Library iSpy

Do you and your kids love Where’s Waldo and the iSpy books? Check out JDL’s Facebook page to play Library iSpy! Every day during the week of October 12, we will post a picture from one of our libraries and a list of items that can be spied in the pictures.

Prizes will be given away daily for those who participate as well as a larger prize at the end of the week!
