LEGO at the Library

Enjoy an afternoon of LEGO creations at the Spring Arbor Branch! Kids ages 5-12 can compete in different challenges to win prizes.

Team Puzzle Contest

Puzzle teams of 2-4 people will have an hour and a half to quickly solve the same puzzle. If no team completes the puzzle in that time, the team with the fewest pieces left will be declared the Puzzle Champion!

Magic: The Gathering

Join fellow enthusiasts for an afternoon of Magic: The Gathering at the Carnegie Library.

Participants will need to bring their own cards. Intended for teens and adults.

Creative Connections

Whether you’re in it to win it or just for the fun, get ready to play some games during Spring Break, March 24-April 2!

Start at any JDL branch to pick up your scorecard and start playing your way through all the games represented at the Jackson District Library.

Visit 3 locations to earn a prize, visit 7 locations to earn a second prize and visit 10 locations to earn a third prize and be entered into a grand prize drawing for a bundle of board games! You can also complete a trivia sheet at any branch for a grand prize entry, no traveling required.

All activities are available until 30 minutes before each library closes during the week of Spring Break.

  • Activities will include exploring how steam becomes electricity to power a railway, sending telegrams, peddling a Velocipede and a virtual train ride

Storytime at the Mann House

  • March 29, 10:30 AM – 4 PM
  • Hear local historian Laurie Perkins read The Yellow House Mystery and play detective to solve the mystery of the missing diamond ring

Livability at Eastern Branch

The Eastern Branch will host programs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month for all ages and abilities. The library will provide the supplies for crafts, activities and games.
