The Cornhole Tournament will begin at 11:30 AM. Call the Spring Arbor Branch at 517-750-2030 to register.
This event is presented by the Friends of the Jackson District Library. In the event of rain, activities will be moved inside to the community room.
Kick off the holiday season with the Jackson District Library! Join us on November 18 from 4-7 PM at the Carnegie Library for family fun while you wait for the start of the Jackson Holiday Parade.
Kids will receive a free book and the Friends of the Library will host their annual book sale and bake sale. Hot dogs and hot chocolate will also be available for $1 on the front lawn.
Book Sale: November 18, 10 AM – 6 PM; November 19, 10 AM – 2 PM
Bake Sale: November 18, 4-6 PM
Eastern Branch patrons are invited to join us to learn about becoming a Friend of the Jackson District Library! Returning Friends members and anyone interested in learning more are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
The Friends have 3 meetings per year and host books sales in May and November.
The Friends of the Hanover Branch will be hosting their semi-annual book sale upstairs at the Hanover Branch on June 22 from 10 AM – 6 PM. Stop by to purchase books for any age of all your favorite authors.
Parma and Springport Branch patrons are invited to join us to learn about joining the Friends of the Jackson District Library on April 23 at 2:30 PM at the Parma Branch.
Returning Friends members and anyone interested in learning more are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
Celebrate the start of the holiday season at the Carnegie Library Holiday Open House before the City of Jackson Christmas Parade!
Santa is sending his elves to deliver books this year to children who come to visit during the open house. There will be a holiday photo opportunity and the Friends of the Jackson District Library will host their annual book sale and bake sale.
The open house will run 4-6:30 PM, closing after the start of the parade at 6 PM.
