Living History

Join us at the Carnegie Library for a presentation on the dos and don’ts of oral history. You’ll learn about the importance of oral history, how to get started, crafting interview questions and what to do after you finish an oral history interview.

This program will be led by Jim Cameron, President of the Michigan Oral History Society.

Genealogy: From Beginners to Brick Walls

Interested in getting started with genealogy? Need help getting past a research roadblock? Join us at the Springport Branch on July 15 at 10:30 AM for help finding the answers you need. Computers will be available, however patrons are welcome to bring their own laptops to connect to library wifi.
