Storyfest

The 32nd annual celebration of storytelling and music has something for everyone! This three-day event brings talented and famous storytellers to Jackson from all over the Midwest and beyond.

EVENTS
Preschool Storytelling: October 16, 10:00 AM
Carnegie Library
Karen Bonnici, a masterful storyteller and musician, will lead children in a whimsical performance of stories and songs.
This event is open to the public and all families are welcome to attend.

Silver Tales for the Young at Heart: October 17, 10:00 AM
Ella Sharp Museum – 3225 Fourth Street
“Gemini” – twin brothers San and Laz Slomovits – will perform for the Jackson area’s older adults. All are welcome.

Storytelling Finale: October 18, 7:30 PM
Michigan Theatre – 124 N. Mechanic Street
This final celebration of Storyfest will feature humorist and premier storyteller Jeff Doyle, who will regale the audience with hilarious and sometimes spooky tales. This is a family event and all are welcome.

SRP19 Finale Party

Join us for one final celebration of the Summer Reading Program and grand prize drawing! There will be fun activities for the whole family including lawn games, VR, a photo booth and more!

Be sure to stick around to watch The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. Grand prize winners will be announced just prior to the start of the movie at dusk!
