Paint a canvas tote bag with a mix of acrylic paint and a fixative that will help your design last.

PJ Storytime

It’s pajama day at the Eastern Branch and we would love to read you some stories before bedtime!

You can drop off your stuffed animal at the branch anytime from August 1-3 for them to be in a story of their own that we will read during our storytime on August 9.

Intended for children ages 3-10.

Reading on Theme Book Club

Join the Eastern Branch book club for a monthly themed discussion! Whether it’s fiction or nonfiction, hardcover or digital, chapter book or graphic novel – you get to choose your own title to read and discuss based on the theme each month.

Art Through the Ages

Learn about art through the ages with hands-on projects at the Eastern Branch. All crafts will be beginner-friendly, and you do not need any prior art experience to participate.

Getting to Know Your Drinking Water: From Start to Tap!

Kids ages 6-12 can learn about how water makes its way from the environment to your home! Through stories and interactive activities, you’ll learn how the things you do every day can affect the quality of your drinking water and ultimately, your health.

Mindfulness Mandalas

Join us at the Eastern Branch for a creative and fun way to practice mindfulness as we design our own beautiful mandala or mindfully color a pre-drawn mandala. You’ll also learn more about the benefits of practicing mindfulness in our day-to-day lives.

Spore Prints

Explore the world of Fungi with Albion’s Kids ‘N’ Stuff Museum! Kids ages 7-13 will learn about the parts of a mushroom, participate in a “mushroom dissection,” and then use their mushroom to create a piece of art.
