3rd Annual Constitution Day Celebration

Join us in celebrating Constitution and Citizenship Day! On September 17, 1776, the Founding Fathers signed the U.S. Constitution. Each year, on September 17, Americans celebrate the Constitution Day and Citizenship Day. We recognize the duties of citizenship as outlined by our Constitution and celebrate those taking steps to become U.S. citizens.

Stop by the Carnegie Library for more information on the history of our Constitution and resources for the naturalization process.

Constitution Day

March on down to the Carnegie Branch for our second annual celebration of Constitution Day!

We will be handing out goodies (buttons, tattoos, pocket constitution) from the service desks at Carnegie (while supplies last). Patrons who check out one of our government documents from Adult Services will be entered in a raffle to win a gift card. We will also have a display of candidates and issues that Jackson citizens will be voting on in the upcoming November 6th general election.

Adult Services staff will assist patrons with checking their voter registration status at the adult services desk.

Intended for all ages.
