Art Through the Ages

Learn about art through the ages with hands-on projects at the Eastern Branch. All crafts will be beginner-friendly, and you do not need any prior art experience to participate.

Mindfulness Mandalas

Join us at the Eastern Branch for a creative and fun way to practice mindfulness as we design our own beautiful mandala or mindfully color a pre-drawn mandala. You’ll also learn more about the benefits of practicing mindfulness in our day-to-day lives.

Infinite Landscapes Animation

Join us at the Carnegie Library to transform a drawing of your favorite scenery and collaborate to create an infinite looping animation of shifting, imaginative landscapes.

Cyanotype Printing

Learn how to create cyanotype prints on paper and a canvas tote bag at the Meijer Branch!

Cyanotype prints or “sun prints” use the sun to create stunning blue and white silhouette images. All supplies will be provided, though if you have a special object that you would like to make a print of, feel free to bring it with you!

Making Mystic Manors

Help! Builders and Painters needed! The goblins and fairies need new homes due to the strong summer storms blowing through the moors. Patrons get to paint and decorate their own terra cotta pot as a fairy or goblin hideaway.

Sea Turtle Art

Enjoy making a canvas sea turtle art project! This simple project will delight beach and sea turtle lovers.

Spore Prints

Explore the world of Fungi with Albion’s Kids ‘N’ Stuff Museum! Kids ages 7-13 will learn about the parts of a mushroom, participate in a “mushroom dissection,” and then use their mushroom to create a piece of art.
