THE DIGITAL BOOKMOBILE IS COMING TO JACKSON DISTRICT LIBRARY – CARNEGIE BRANCH 🚎

Traveling coast to coast, the high-tech update to a traditional Bookmobile, is coming to promote reading happiness and the digital catalog of eBooks, audiobooks and streaming video that is available at the local library or school.

COME ABOARD!
🏁 This traveling exhibit first launched in 2008 in Central Park, New York, and has since traveled more than 175,000 miles and welcomed 218,526 visitors at 869 events.
🏁 Book lovers of all ages can come aboard to learn about and engage with digital books at their local school or library inside the Digital Bookmobile.
🏁 Equipped with interactive workstations, touchscreen activities, devices to sample titles and more, the Digital Bookmobile has everything a reader needs to get started.
🏁 All Digital Bookmobile events are free to host and attend.
🏁 The 42-foot long Toterhome provides devices, internet connectivity and expert guidance to the local library’s digital collection of eBooks and audiobooks.
