Adult Beginning Ukulele Workshop for Ukulele Day

We’ll begin with basic songs and chords and expand on this knowledge with some useful tips on strums and changing chords.

The ukulele is a musical instrument that’s sociable, accessible, and lots of fun for folks from ages 8-88! Ben Hassenger, MIchigan’s Ambassador of the Ukulele, will be visiting the Jackson Public Library with a cart full of ukes to play a children’s concert as well as teach a children’s and adult workshops. Bring your own instruments or use one of our loaners.
